Worldwide Codex HACCP, GMP, SQF & FeedSafe® Accreditations

We believe it's our responsibility to make sure you and your horse receive only the very best — so you can compete without ever worrying about what's supporting them.
That's why we go the extra mile for Clean Sport.
Hi Form is 100% behind clean sport. For us that means three things: every ingredient traceable to its source, banned substances kept out by design rather than checked for afterwards, and manufacturing processes that make cross-contamination practically impossible.
Made in a human food facility
Our supplements are manufactured in Australia by Techniques Incorporated Pty Ltd in Clayton, Victoria — a facility whose certified scope is the manufacture of human food ingredients. Everything in a Hi Form tub is blended in an environment built and audited to human food standards, because every ingredient we use is oral grade. We believe few, if any, other animal supplement companies in the world can say that.
SQF certified — and independently audited every year
The facility is certified to the SQF Food Safety Code (Food Manufacturing, Edition 9) — one of the world's most rigorous food safety standards, benchmarked by the Global Food Safety Initiative and audited annually by Intertek SAI Global (certificate SQF20068). At its core sits HACCP: a preventive, risk-based system that identifies every point where a hazard could enter production and controls it before it can.
What that looks like in practice
Equipment designed for deep cleaning with no crevices for contamination to hide in. Strict sanitary zoning between raw and finished areas, with controlled air quality. Cleaning protocols that are documented, validated and verified — not just done. Every raw ingredient from approved, inspected suppliers. Dedicated allergen controls. Metal detection and foreign-object screening on the line. Staff trained and audited on hygiene, and a paper trail behind every batch.
Like the purity of our ingredients, this isn't an afterthought — cleanliness and traceability are core to how Hi Form has worked since 1990. What's in our tubs is on our labels; what isn't on the label isn't in the tub.
FeedSafe® accredited — the animal feed standard, on top
Alongside its human food certification, the facility holds FeedSafe® accreditation — the Quality Assurance programme run by the Stock Feed Manufacturers' Council of Australia specifically for animal feed manufacture, developed with the Chief Veterinary Officer of every Australian state. FeedSafe requires annual site audits by independent third-party food safety auditors, and covers everything from raw material sourcing to labelling, testing and delivery.
Most feed companies hold the feed standard. We hold the feed standard and the human food one — because our ingredients had to meet human standards before they were ever going in a bucket.

HACCP
Stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points. This is a systematic preventive approach to food safety from biological, chemical and physical hazards in production processes that can cause the finished product to be unsafe, and designs measurements to reduce these risks to a safe level.
HACCP plan principles cover:
- Identification of food hazards and the necessary risk control measures
- Identification of the food safety Critical Control Points (CCPs)
- Determination of the critical limits for each CCP
- Establish monitoring procedures for CCPs
- Plan and take corrective action when critical limits are exceeded
- Establish verification procedures for the HACCP FSMS system
- Establish documentation and record keeping for the HACCP FSMS system

FEEDAFE
The SFMCA (The Stock Feed Manufacturers’ Council of Australia) operates FeedSafe® as the Quality Assurance Accreditation Program for the Australian stock feed industry. Core to FeedSafe® is Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) which was developed in partnership with the Chief Veterinary Officer
for each State in Australia with the final document having endorsement from the Primary Industries Ministerial Council.
For Techniques Incorporated to obtain FeedSafe® accreditation, they are required to undergo annual site audits that are conducted by independent third-party food safety auditors.
FeedSafe® is a program aimed at increasing the commitment of the Australian stock feed industry to quality assurance and risk mitigation in the manufacture and use of animal feeds. The SFMCA through FeedSafe® has recognised the need for a broader industry approach to feed and food safety and is providing greater security of supply to the livestock industries.
FeedSafe® plan principles cover:
- Premises and mill buildings
- Personnel training and qualifications
- Plant and equipment
- Raw material sourcing and purchasing
- Raw material quality and storage
- Feed formulation and manufacturing
- Product labelling
- Loading, transport and delivery to clients
- Product inspection, sampling and testing
- Customer complaint investigation
