Questions, answered properly

The things we're asked most — about feeding, subscriptions, delivery and how we make what we make. If yours isn't here, the humans are easy to reach.

Feeding & products

Start with the horse, not the shelf. If your horse is in regular work, Oxydane covers the daily essentials; for the lighter life it's LeisureVit; for breeding stock and youngsters, BreedPlus. Beyond the daily formulas, the honest answer is: ask us. Our free nutrition advice service will look at your horse's whole picture and tell you what we'd feed — and if the answer is 'nothing new', we'll say that too. The Formula Finder in The Feed Room is a good five-minute starting point.

Yes — the range is designed as a family, and most of our formulas pair happily in the same bucket at their normal label rates. Nothing changes because they're together. If you're planning three or more, run it past the free advice team first — not because it's risky, but because there's often overlap and you may be able to feed less than you think.

Nutrition works at the speed of the horse, not the speed of the internet. Coats change with the season they grow in, hooves take months to grow down, and a diet change of any kind deserves six to eight weeks before you judge it. We'd rather tell you that plainly than promise you a transformation by Tuesday.

Most do — the serves are small and there's no bitterness to hide because there are no fillers to disguise. For the professionals of the feed-bowl inspection world: mix the scoop into a small handful of damp low-sugar chaff, and for the first week start at half the rate and build up. If your horse still says no, talk to us — there's usually a way in.

What's in our tubs is on our labels — nothing hidden, nothing to catch you out. Every formula is made in our HACCP-certified, Feedsafe-accredited facility. Have a read of our Clean Sport page for the full picture on how our range sits alongside FEI and racing rules.

The ingredients in our formulas are listed with Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration — the regulator for human medicines and supplements — meaning they've been assessed for quality and safety at human standards, not the lower bar set for animal feed. Our rule of thumb is simpler: if we wouldn't consume it, our horses don't either. The Science page tells the whole story.

Because legally — and rightly — we can't. UK law draws a firm line between nutrition and medicine, and supplements sit on the nutrition side: we can talk about supporting normal function and maintaining health, never about treating conditions. If your horse has a health problem, your vet leads. Then our free advice team will happily help you build the feeding around exactly what your vet advises — that conversation, one-to-one about your horse, is where we can be most useful.

Subscriptions

Pick your product and pouch size, and a fresh refill lands every month for a flat £2 delivery per pouch. Your first order includes a free storage tub and scoop; every delivery after that is just the refill. Prices stay honest, and there's no small print waiting for you.

Yes, yes and yes — from your account, in a couple of clicks, no phone call required. Going away for a month? Pause. Horse's needs changed? Swap the product or size. Done entirely? Cancel, and we'll part as friends. Subscriptions should feel like a convenience, not a contract.

You're billed on the same date each month — the date you first subscribed — and your pouch ships on the schedule you can see in your account, where you can also nudge the next delivery earlier or later if the tub's running ahead or behind.

Orders & delivery

Standard UK delivery is £6, free on orders over £100, and subscription pouches ship for a flat £2 each. Order by 1pm and we'll get it moving the same working day. Full details live on our Shipping & Returns page.

We look after the UK — but Hi Form is fed in stables around the world, and there may well be a distributor in your country. Drop us a line and we'll point you to the right doorstep.

Tell us — quickly solved is our favourite kind of problem. Damaged or incorrect orders are replaced without fuss, and our returns policy is set out plainly on the Shipping & Returns page. Either way, start with a message and a photo if you have one, and we'll sort it from there.

About Hi Form

In Australia, where Hi Form has been formulating since 1990 — blended in small batches in a HACCP-certified, Feedsafe-accredited facility, then shipped to us and dispatched from here in the UK. Small batches aren't a romantic flourish; they're how every scoop stays fresh and consistent from the top of the tub to the bottom.

No, no, and no. No fillers — every gram is there to do a job. No added molasses or artificial flavours. And no glucosamine or chondroitin, because they're derived from shellfish and cartilage, and we don't believe a strict herbivore's supplement should need a fishing fleet. What we leave out matters as much as what we put in.
