An explanation…

Hi Form & the VMD

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate is the regulator by whom we're governed. As a supplement company we fall under the feed rules: a supplement may support a healthy horse, but only a licensed medicine may claim to treat an unwell one. So words like "improve", "boost" and "promote" — anything implying we change your horse's natural state — are banned from our pages. It's worth knowing that it's the words that are policed, not the supplements themselves — which explains a lot about how some products in this industry are made, and why we'd rather be judged on our labels than our adjectives.

We can't tell you what improvement you may experience.

But we know that you and the support team around you will see and feel the difference that Hi Form makes.

But we can say this:

Nutrition — the act or process of nourishing or being nourished.

Nutrition provides the basic building blocks on which our horses are built. Nutrition is the key to life, with the ability to switch our horses' genes on and off. Correct nutrition is responsible for maintaining long-term health and wellbeing. Every single one of our supplements is formulated with these three points foremost in mind.

Use the rules when you shop — anywhere.

The regulations are also the best label-reading lesson you'll ever get. Wherever you buy, be wary of feed supplements that "boost", "improve" or offer "relief", and of anything naming a condition. Then turn the tub around — the composition and analysis are where the truth lives, and ours are printed in full.

And for the questions a webpage can't answer — the ones about your horse — your vet comes first, always. Alongside them, our free nutrition advice team will talk through your individual horse, one to one, for nothing.
