What is Oxydane?

The tub that quietly empties your feed room shelf

Most feed rooms accumulate supplements the way tack rooms accumulate numnahs. A balancer here, an electrolyte there, something for the coat, something for the gut - and a scoop for each of them.

Oxydane is the other way of doing it.

One formula, developed in Australia in 1990 and fed to everything from racehorses to happy hackers ever since, carrying over 60 active ingredients: vitamins, minerals, amino acids, trace elements, electrolytes and our BioEquus gut support, with steam-extracted botanicals — rosehip, St Mary's thistle and Siberian ginseng. It's designed as the nutritional foundation for any horse in work — the daily essentials, done properly, in one small scoop.

It replaces feed balancers and the usual parade of separate vitamin and mineral supplements. Which is why we call it a daily essential rather than a supplement — it's not an extra, it's the base layer.

The 0.01% worth bragging about

Turn any feed bag or tub around and find the crude ash figure — it's a rough guide to how much of what you're paying for isn't doing anything. Oxydane's is 0.01%. Practically speaking, that means the tub contains active ingredients and almost nothing else. No fillers, no binders, no bulking agents, no mystery 'meal'. If it's in there, it's in there for a reason.

Every ingredient is human grade — our simple rule is that if we wouldn't consume it, our horses don't either — and each one is listed with Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration, which means it's been assessed for quality and safety in humans.

The whole formula is made in a HACCP-certified human-grade facility. Yes, we're fussy. Horses generally approve of fussy.

What it does

Tap any benefit for the detail.

A horse's ration is rarely perfect — grazing varies, forage varies, seasons change. Oxydane aids a balanced daily diet by supplying the vitamins, minerals and trace elements a working horse needs, every day, at consistent levels. No guesswork, no gaps, no tower of separate tubs.

Good condition starts in the gut — it's where forage becomes fuel. Every scoop of Oxydane includes a daily serving of BioEquus, our live-culture formula, to support a healthy gut microbiome and normal digestion. A horse digesting well simply gets more from every haynet.

Zinc, biotin, methionine and silica — the classic line-up for helping maintain healthy skin, a glossy coat and good strong hoof horn. It's usually the first thing owners mention, and the first thing the yard notices.

Muscle, topline and overall condition are built from amino acids — lysine, methionine, threonine and ten more, all present in Oxydane. They're the raw materials that support muscle condition and topline in horses in work.

Sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium replace what sweat takes out, so horses in regular work or competition have their everyday electrolyte needs covered without a separate tub. (Hard summer workloads may still call for extra — ask us.)

Calcium and phosphorus in a sensible ratio, backed by magnesium, vitamin D and silica — the minerals that help maintain healthy bones, joints and connective tissue through a working life.

Balancer? Supplement stack? Or one scoop?

Don't take our word for any of this — go and turn your current tubs around. The label tells you everything: how much of it is active, how much you feed, and what it costs per day.
